This website is operated by Geomar STS, an independent Ship-to-Ship (STS) operations superintendency based in Brașov, Romania and operating worldwide ("Geomar STS", "we", "us"). For any privacy-related question or request, contact us at operations@geomarsts.com.

2. What data we collect

We only collect personal data that you choose to provide, or that is strictly necessary to operate the website:

• Contact details you submit — when you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and the content of your message.
• Technical data — our hosting provider automatically records standard server information (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability.
• Essential cookies only — see section 6.

3. How we use your data

We use the data above solely to respond to your enquiries, to provide and improve our services, to keep the website secure, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Legal basis for processing

Under the GDPR, we process your data on the basis of your consent (when you contact us), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, and, where applicable, compliance with a legal obligation.

5. Sharing and international transfers

We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to deal with your request and to keep a reasonable business record, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email operations@geomarsts.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian Data Protection Authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including serving the site over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission over the internet is, however, completely secure.
